Q: Why does it say you dislike Meg Ryan?

A: For equality's sake, I could just as well say: "I dislike Tom Hanks". I'm sure these people are very philantropic and agreeable in person and I make no claims to be able to evaluate them on an ad hominem - basis.

But as far as their movies are concerned, I am fully entitled to give the world my opinion on this and any other matter as provided by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, in particular when it comes to the wonderful article 19, which states that everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

So here's the deal with me and Meg. And Tom.

Sleepless in Seattle gave me a lifetime of insomnia. No, really. I also get frequent nightmares from having seen glimpses of Mrs Ryan's other romantic comedies.

I don't know. Must be something in her timing.

Meg almost ruined both The Doors AND Top Gun for me as well (Hey! As far as planes-and-popcorn-movies come, Top Gun is STILL the shit).

That's why it says I dislike Meg Ryan. And as for those rainy days? Well. Those come in handy for quiet contemplation, polishing one's After effects -skills, and/or eating water-melons, don't you think?
